2014 Carignan

Our first ever Carignan, and we couldn't be more delighted. As you might expect from Two Shepherds, a completely different expression of this variety. Light, bright, vibrant, with a hint of structure from some whole cluster during fermentation. Light red in color, only 12.3% alcohol.

More akin to Cru Beaujolais from Burgundy, than a Rhone.

Grab a few bottles for a completely different side of this often over looked Rhone variety, before its all gone!

Farmed at the Trimble Vineyard in Mendocino, this gorgeous 40 year old block is head trained, dry farmed, and organically certified.
